Going on strike
to have all the same rights
acting powerful and passionate
but feeling week and dull
Standing up for all the right things
but feeling as your the bad guy
we can know say
the civil rights movement has changes
us to this day
I thank all the people who stood up
for their rights
because if it wasn't for them
we wouldnt be this happy today
there are bigger problems we need to face
helping each other will go
a long way
